The Carbon Facial — also known as the Hollywood Peel — is a quick, non-invasive laser treatment that leaves skin visibly brighter, smoother and tighter with zero downtime. It's a favourite pre-event treatment for exactly that reason: instant results, no recovery time.
How It Works
A thin layer of medical-grade carbon lotion is applied to the skin, where it works its way deep into the pores. We then pass the same Eternal Laser Systems PHANTOM Q-Switch Nd:YAG laser used for our tattoo removal treatments — set to its 1064nm wavelength — over the area. The laser energy is absorbed by the carbon particles, causing them to fragment in a fast photothermal reaction that exfoliates the skin, draws out impurities from the pores, and gently stimulates collagen production beneath the surface.
The result is an immediate brightening effect, refined pores, and a smoother skin texture — all without any cutting, needles or downtime.

The treatment is generally well tolerated, with most clients describing only a mild tingling or snapping sensation during the laser pass — no anaesthetic is needed. Afterwards, your skin will feel smoother and look visibly brighter straight away, with no recovery time required, so you can return to normal activities immediately.
While you'll see a visible improvement after a single session, we recommend a course of 6 sessions for the best long-term results — this allows the collagen-stimulating effects to build progressively for firmer, clearer skin over time.
